Moose and Teri Moss are excited to announce their daughter and son in law are expecting TWINS ( one boy and one girl ) The due date is Aug 11th . The happy grandparents are anxious for the arrival so we can begin to SPOIL THE BABIES!!
What is SIMEON'S promise? Luke 2:25-30 "And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
And he came by the Spirit into the Temple: and when the parents brought the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, then took he Him up in his arms and blessed God, and said, "Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: for mine eyes have seen thy salvation."
What is Our Promise? Just like Simeon, we have the promise that we too can see Christ before we die. We can't see Him with our physical eyes as did Simeon, but we can see Him with our spiritual eyes by accepting Him into our hearts. Through faith in Jesus we receive the gift of salvation and eternal life. Jesus knocks at our hearts door. It is up to us to open the door and accept His free gift.
